I’ve been active in graffiti since the early 1980s. Growing up in the suburbs of Stockholm, I spent much of my time drawing and experimenting with letters. Before choosing a pseudonym, my friends and I wrote our real first names—tagging simply because it was fun and visible. I also tagged inside Stockholm’s subway system, moving naturally from paper into public space.
A turning point came when my father gave me a hip-hop vinyl record. The graffiti on the back cover revealed a wider culture and visual language that resonated deeply. Influenced by early New York writers and the fast-moving Danish graffiti scene, I developed a strong foundation in letter structure, flow and color. My work remains centered on lettering, shaped by decades of painting and informed by experience in art direction and design. I continue to paint with letters first, staying true to graffiti’s original foundations.
